Porsche EA839 3.0T/2.9T Thermostat Assembly - Billet Aluminum Upgrade

Introducing the FIRST and ONLY upgraded anodized aluminum billet thermostat. Upgrade your Porsche engine with our precision CNC-machined billet aluminum thermostat housing assembly. Designed specifically for the EA839 platform, this direct replacement eliminates the common failure point of the factory plastic thermostat housing. Upgrades/Replaces OEM Part: PAB121115B. 

The thermostat is replaced during a water pump replacement to prevent future failure. The EA893's water pump is a common failure which causes coolant migration. This results in a compromised vacuum system which leads to overheating and under boost issues (P0299). 

Common symptoms of failing thermostat and thermostat housing:

• Coolant leaks on the front of the engine
• Low coolant level warnings
• Engine coolant overheating or temperature fluctuations
• Engine coolant not reaching operating temperature 
• Visible cracks in plastic housing
• Coolant smell from engine bay
